Coming Soon: Gardens Poker Championship (January 9-13)

Season XVIII of the World Poker Tour will open 2020 in Southern California at The Gardens Casino in Hawaiian Gardens, California with the WPT Gardens Poker Championship from January 9 – 13.

With the WPT500 Los Angeles featuring a $1 million guarantee and 16 starting flights across multiple weekends before all the surviving players return for Day 2 action on Sunday, January 5, 2020, action will then head to the Main Tour with the second installment of the Gardens Poker Championship.

Last season, Frank Stepuchin collected his first WPT title when he topped the 253-entrant field to win the $548,825 first-place prize after defeating Shannon Shorr heads-up once play concluded at the HyperX Esports Arena at the Luxor Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

For Season XVIII, the buy-in will be $10,000 and there will be two starting flights and registration will be open until the start of Level 11 on Day 2 (approximately 3:30 p.m. PT on Saturday, January 11). This will be the first televised event of the season.

Day 1A: Thursday, January 9, at 12 p.m. (PT)
Day 1B: Friday, January 10, at 12 p.m. (PT)
Day 2: Saturday, January 11, at 12 p.m. (PT)
Day 3: Sunday, January 12, at 12 p.m. (PT)
Day 4: Monday, January 13, at 12 p.m. (PT)
Final Table: Tuesday, March 31, at 4 p.m. (PT) inside the HyperX Esports Arena at the Luxor Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
