WPT Mainstay Steve “Cuz” Buckner is among the earliest of entries in the growing Day 1C field.

Buckner opens to 600 in the hijack and gets called by the big blind.

On a flop after a check from his opponent, Buckner continues for 1,000, eliciting a fold to take a small early pot.

The field has already nearly doubled from its starting point with late registration and re-entry available until approximately 6:15 p.m.
