Kyle Frey raises from middle position to 37,000, Elio Fox calls from the small blind, and Dapo Ajayi calls from the big blind.

The flop comes Heart KDiamond 4Heart 2, and it checks to Frey, who bets 45,000. Fox check-raises to 120,000, and Ajayi check-reraises to 420,000. Frey folds, and Fox thinks for a while before he moves all in for exactly 1,000,000.

Ajayi asks for an exact count and goes into the tank for a very long time. Eventually somebody asks for a clock, but before a floorperson can arrive, Ajayi calls with Spade 5Heart 4 for a pair of fours.

Fox turns over Diamond 2Club 2 for a set of deuces, and he is in a dominant position to double up here.

The turn card is the Heart J, giving Ajayi additional outs with a flush draw, and the river card is — the Heart A.

Fox just silently stares at the board for a moment as Ajayi turns and steps away from the table, saying something like, “Did that just happen?”

Ajayi wins the biggest pot of the tournament so far (2,171,000) by catching a runner-runner heart flush, eliminating Fox in 77th place.
