Darcourt and Karam on the Rail

Sep 27, 2018

After his decent start into Day 1A, things haven’t gone as smoothly for Guillaume Darcourt and he ends up all in and at risk for fewer than the starting stack with ace-king. He picks up a call by Francisco Vargas, who takes the flip with Diamond QClub Q and instantly flops another queen to eliminate Darcourt.

Jean Karam had doubled in the first 10 minutes of the day but he also joins the rail towards the end of level nine. First Karam flops top pair with the Club KSpade J only for his table neighbor to table Club 5Heart 5 for bottom set.

Karam is left with just two big blinds and busts the next hand with Heart QSpade J against the Diamond ASpade K of David Comeron. The Spaniard flops top pair and turns trips to leave Karam drawing dead on a board of Spade ADiamond 10Heart 5Club AHeart 3.

David Comeron- 70,000
Francisco Vargas – 50,000
