Darlene Lee Busts a Player in a 7-Way Pot

Sep 15, 2014

Seven out of nine players are "battling" over a small pot with the board showing [Ks10h6c7h] on the turn. Action checks to Darlene Lee in middle position, and she bets 15,000. The hijack moves all in for about 30,000, and everyone else folds.

Lee calls with [9s8s] for a ten-high straight, and the player in the hijack turns over [Kc7c] for two pair, kings and sevens. He needs another king or a seven on the river to stay alive.

The river card is the [5c], and Lee wins the pot with her ten-high straight to eliminate her opponent and increase her stack to nearly 200K.
