With the board showing Spade AHeart QSpade 3Heart 9 on the turn, David DiBernardi checks the small blind, Jake Schwartz checks the big blind, and a player in middle position bets 4,500. The player in the cutoff raises to 13,600, and DiBernardi check-raises all in for 45,100.

Schwartz tanks for a surprisingly long time before he folds, quickly followed by the middle-position player.

The cutoff calls with Diamond ADiamond 9 for two pair, aces and nines, but DiBernardi turns over Spade 9Club 9 for a set of nines. DiBernardi needs to avoid an ace on the river to stay alive.

The river card is the Club 10, and DiBernardi wins the pot with his set to double up in chips.
