David DiBernardi Scores a Massive Double Thru James Carroll to Take the Chip Lead into the Break

Defending champion Brian Altman raises to 6,000 from the hijack, WPT Champions Club member James Carroll calls on the button, David DiBernardi three-bets to 43,000 from the big blind, Altman folds, and Carroll calls.

The flop is Diamond 2Heart 2Spade 2, DiBernardi continues for 65,000, and Carroll calls.

The turn is the Heart 6, DiBernardi bets 115,000, and Carroll calls.

The river is the Club 3, DiBernardi shoves for 145,000, and Carroll goes into the tank.

The break has just started, and Carroll tells his tablemates, “Might be a while, guys.”

After about three minutes, DiBernardi calls the clock. Carroll is given 30 seconds and as the clock ticks down, Carroll calls.

DiBernardi tables Club 10Heart 10 for deuces full of tens, Carroll mucks, and DiBernadri wins the pot to take the chip lead into the break.
