The WPTDeepStacks Amsterdam event saw a total of 757 entry slips sold over the two starting flights, and only 95 survived to make a Day 2 appearance here today. Every player with a seat today was guaranteed at least a min-cash, creating a new goal of hitting the final eight for an official live-streamed final table, where the victor will pocket a hefty €130,690 for their win.

Leading the final eight players is David Hu with a stack of 5,205,000 (69 bb). Hu showed no fear throughout Day 2, playing for the win whenever he could, and his rollercoaster of a day reflects that. He had a few obstacles en route to finishing atop the leaderboard but overcame those with ease and is now in a position to secure a new career-best cash.

All eight members of the final table are guaranteed at least a €16,430 payday, but not all were so long in making the final day and some notables on that list include Tineke Bronkhorst (12th – €10,280), Badre al Ghouch (17th – €5,630), Tom Vogelsang (24th – €4,720), and Sandro Pitzanti (10th – €12,930) who took down the most exciting hand thus far in the event.

The last day of the event will go up to hour-long levels instead of the 40-minute ones that have been set up until this point. Players will receive a 15-minute break after every two levels of play, and also a dinner break after six levels. The day will not halt until a winner is crowned and a new WPTDeepStacks Champion joins the club.
