David Williams Doubles Up

Aug 25, 2014

A player in middle position raises to 1,600 and Champions Club member David Williams reraises to 3,100 behind him. The player in the cutoff calls, as does the initial raiser.

The flop comes [7d4c3d] and the player in middle position checks. Williams bets 4,000, the player in the cutoff calls, and the player in middle position folds.

The turn is the [6d] and Williams checks.  The other player bets 6,000 and Williams gives his hole cards a long glance before calling.

The river is the [10c] and Williams checks again. The other player bets 15,000, which is enough to put Williams all-in for his remaining 14,375.

Williams emphatically grabs his chips, lifts them up and places them into the pot, then flips over his [AdQd] for the nut flush and the double up.

David Williams – 14,375
