Day 2 of the Season XVII WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown has come to a conclusion with the 1,360-entrant field reduced to the final 90 players who are all currently guaranteed $7,620.

Keith Ferrera (pictured) ended the day as chip leader after fighting of a late surge from both Jerry Wong and Aaron Mermelstein. Ferrera ended the day with 1,905,000 beating out Wong (1,470,000) and Mermelstein (1,425,000).

Plenty of WPT Champions Club members are still in contention alongside Mermelstein, as the likes of James Carroll, Erik Seidel, Eric Afriat, Seth Davies, Justin Young, Patrick Serda, Darren Elias, Niall Farrell, and Frank Stepuchin all remain.

A full recap of the day, along with a full list of chip counts and the seating draw will be posted later tonight.
