Ludovic Sultan Leads the Final 95 Players Into Day 2; Official Seating & Chip Counts

There were a total of 286 entries in WPTDeepStacks Sanremo spread across three starting flights, and when they were all over, there were 95 players who survived to Day 2. The overall chipleader is Ludovic Sultan (pictured), who finished with 272,000 (136 big blinds), just a single chip more than Christian Petre, who survived with 271,500 (136 big blinds).
Third in chips is WPTDS Amsterdam champion Christos Economides, who bagged up 260,500. Economides is currently tied for the lead in the WPTDeepStacks Player of the Year race, and even a min-cash here will be enough to give him the outright lead. Of course, if Economides can make the final table, he will add even more POY points to increase his lead.
Day 2 begins at 1:00 pm, and the field will burst the Money Bubble and play as long as it takes to reach the final two tables (16 players). The official prizepool will be released tomorrow.
