Day 2: Ryan Hughes (364K) leads the Final 277; Jennifer Tilly Second with 279K

Day 2 of the WPT Five Diamond World Poker Classic comes to an end with 277 players remaining from a field of 791 entries, and Ryan Hughes leads the pack with 364,400 (304 big blinds). Actress Jennifer Tilly is second with 279,100 (233 big blinds).

This tournament has made history, because the field is tied for the largest in WPT history for events with a buy-in of $10K or higher, equaling the 2007 WPT L.A. Poker Classic. With the record-tying field, the total prizepool is worth $7,672,700. The final 72 players will finish in the money, guaranteed at least $22,251, while first prize is worth $1,938,118.
