Day 3 of the Main Event Begins at 1 pm

Yesterday, 54 players survived in an epic Day 2, that was not short on action. Today, they are joined by 15 players who qualified through the online Day 1s and Day 2s that were offered on partypoker. In around an hour, all 69 players will come together here at Casino Sochi.

Among the latest arrivals are partypoker Ambassador Anatoly Filatov, Champions Club member Matas Cimbolas and WPTDS Berlin 2020 winner Daniel Szymanski.

It all kicks off at 1 pm local time and today a total of 11 levels will be played or until the final six has been reached, whichever comes first.

Blinds will rewind to the beginning of Level 16 (3,000-5,000 5,000 big blind ante), in order to keep in line with the online Day 2 will finish during that level.

Players have already locked up 78.57 Casino Units* (CU) for the mincash but all eyes will undoubtedly be on the very attractive first prize of 3,317.85 CU.

Blinds will continue to be 60 minutes long and there will be 15-minute breaks every two hours (at the end of every second level). There will likely be a longer dinner break too, which will be announced by the tournament director later.
