Ely Levy Out in 11th Place as Griffin Paul Takes the Lead

Ely Levy
Ely Levy (pictured) limps under the gun for 60,000, Griffin Paul raises from the cutoff to 180,000, and Dan Heimiller calls from the small blind. Levy calls as well.

The flop comes 10spade7club4heart, Heimiller checks, and Levy bets 400,000. Paul raises to 900,000, and Heimiller folds. Levy calls.

The turn is the 9heart, Levy checks, Paul moves all in, and Levy thinks for a moment before he calls all in for about 3.33 million with Qspade10club (pair of tens). But Paul turns over QheartQclub for a pair of queens, and Levy needs a ten on the river to stay alive.

The river card is the 7spade, and Paul wins the pot with his pocket queens to eliminate Levy from the tournament and take the chip lead.

Griffin Paul  –  10,100,000  (168 bb)
Ely Levy  –  Eliminated in 11th Place  ($58,500)
