Ensan Off to the Cashier

Apr 16, 2018

The board of Heart AHeart 5Spade 2Diamond 6Heart 9 was all but rushed away and the cards of Hossein Ensan were already in the muck while his stack and the one of Marijn van Puffelen were counted.

Eventually, it was deemed that Ensan was covered and he left the tournament area. “I will buy back in, just gotta get some money,” Ensan said. “The pot was already so big, and I couldn’t fold ace-jack anymore for the remaining 12,000.”

Van Puffelen had gotten there with Heart 7Heart 3 to improve to a flush and send the German with roots in Iran to the rail for now.
