Eran Israel Shaham Tussles with Maksim Panyak

Jan 22, 2020

Eran Israel Shaham is under the gun, Maksim Panyak in the small blind and Evgeniy Golenko the big blind with 8,000 in the pot and the Club 8Diamond JHeart 2 flop already out.

Panyak bets 700, which Golenko calls before Shaham raises to 3,700. Both players call.

On the Diamond Q turn, the betting follows the same pattern, with Panyak leading for 700 and Golenko calling before Shaham raises to 6,700. This time only Panyak calls.

The Club 9 comes on the river and Panyak bets 700 for the last time. Shaham calls and they turn over Heart 10Heart 9 (for Shaham) and Heart QSpade 10 (for Panyak). It doesn’t matter that Shaham hit the straight first, by the end it is still a chop-pot.

Eran Israel Shaham – 110,000
Maksim Panyak – 105,000
Evgeniy Golenko – 73,000
