Eric Blair loses an all-in situation to a player who spikes an ace on the river, and it knocks Blair all the way down to 1,300 in chips.

The next hand, that same player raises from middle position to 3,500, Blair calls all in from the hijack for 1,300, and Tim Reilly thinks for a while before he moves all in over the top from the small blind for about 50,000. The initial raiser folds.

Blair turns over Spade KDiamond 10, and he needs to improve to stay alive against Reilly’s Heart ADiamond Q.

The board comes Club QClub JClub 4Diamond 5Heart 6 — Blair flops an open-ended straight draw, but improves no further. Reilly wins the pot with a pair of queens to eliminate Blair from Day 1B.
