This is the final WPT event of the season that qualifies for POY points in the Hublot WPT Player of the Year race, and the current points leader is Erkut Yilmaz with 2,300 points.

Yilmaz has just been eliminated from this event, so his season-ending total is 2,300 points. That is the mark to beat. (In the case of a tie, the player with the most WPT money earned this season will win.)

There are four other contenders still in this field, and here is how deep they need to finish to overtake Yilmaz in the POY race:

Dylan Linde  –  9th or better
Jake Schwartz  –  4th or better
Anthony Zinno  –  1st
Frank Stepuchin  –  1st

And here are their updated chip counts:

Anthony Zinno  –  190,000  (76 bb)
Jake Schwartz  –  102,000  (41 bb)
Frank Stepuchin  –  37,000  (15 bb)
Dylan Linde  –  30,500  (12 bb)

If none of these players finish high enough, then current POY points leader Erkut Yilmaz will become the Season XVII Hublot WPT Player of the Year.
