Heading towards the end of the second level and it has been a much quieter start than was witnessed in the previous round. There is a big hand brewing here though with Allan Berger raise-calling 11,000 preflop with and hitting on the flop. Unbeknownst to him though, his top pair was still a long way behind Eugenio Peralta’s .

Berger check-calls a 7,200 bet and the turn is the sending him into the lead with top-two pair. Peralta bets 20,000 into the 36,000 pot at this point and Berger check-calls a second time, leading to a natural three-barrel all in for Peralta on the river. The 56,000 bet is snap-called and it’s an early end to this match, with Peralta taking 8th place and Berger progressing to the semi-finals.
