Seat 4. Steve Tabb

Steve Tabb has been a professional poker player for eight years, and the San Mateo, California resident is originally from Boston. He has $749,834 in career earnings to his name. Tabb has two previous cashes at WPT events. His first was a 58th-place finish ($9,811) at the Borgata Poker Open back in Season XIII, and he also cashed earlier on the WPT California Swing when he took 70th place ($15,300) at the recently-completed Bay 101 Shooting Star.

Tabb has 57 cashes to his credit, and he has a good shot to top his best cash of $71,434 (Champion at the Borgata Deep Stack Double Play Open in 2013). Tabb has his work cut out for him if he wants to top his best previous cash since he will enter final table with the second smallest stack in play. Tabb eliminated Pat Lyons in eighth place during the late stages of play on Day 3 to grow his stack above 1 million. His pocket tens held against the ace-eight of Lyons in a pot where the money got all-in preflop.
