Aug 30, 2017

Alex Greenblatt

Alex Greenblatt (pictured) completes the small blind to 40,000, and J.C. Tran checks his option in the big blind.

The flop comes Spade ASpade 4Club 4, Greenblatt bets 45,000, and Tran calls.

The turn card is the Diamond 6, Greenblatt checks, Tran bets 120,000, and Greenblatt calls.

The river card is the Diamond 10, Greenblatt checks, Tran bets 265,000, and Greenblatt thinks for about 20 seconds before he moves all in for 1,140,000.

Tran asks for an exact count, but after another five seconds or so, he cuts it short and calls with Heart 4Diamond 3 for trip fours. But Greenblatt turns over Heart ADiamond A to win the pot with a flopped full house, aces full of fours, to double up in chips.

Alex Greenblatt  –  2,635,000  (66 bb)
J.C. Tran  –  3,650,000  (91 bb)
