60 players are going to come back tomorrow, and they are lead by Georgios Zisimopoulos who bagged up 222,200 and is well clear of the rest of the field. He will be looking to better his previous best performance in the Dutch capital, which was a second place finish in the 2014 Master Classics of Poker for €178,616.

A whole host of pros including members from Team PokerStars were in action early, including Chris Moneymaker (16,000), Jake Cody (31,000) and Lex Veldhuis (23,600), and all three were lucky enough to bag up chips at the end of play.

In addition to Cody, two other former WPT Champions will be moving on to Day 2. Juha Helppi finished 16th in the WPTDeepStacks and third in the WPT High Roller, and is looking for a third cash on his trip after bagging up 21,800. Meanwhile, Giacomo Fundaro bagged 72,000 in chips in the same event in which he finished 12th two years ago.
