Jamie Gold late-registered today during Level 3 of the $1,100 buy-in, $100,000 guaranteed WPT Foundation Pala Poker Open Main Event. Unfortunately for him, he was unable to get anything going with his 20,000-chip starting stack, and was just eliminated at Table 5.

Gold brings with him more than $12.4 million in career live tournament winnings, most notably the $12 million lump sum he received for winning the largest WSOP Main Event in history.

Gold nearly reached the WPT bestbet Jacksonville Bounty Scramble final table in November of 2014, eventually falling in 17th place for more than $20,000.

We will see if the World Champion fires a second bullet here on Day 1B. Registration is open until 6:30 pm PT.
