There was an mid-position open to 500 and Jeff Hakim called on the button as did the big blind. The flop was [9c] [5d] [2c] and when the action checked to Hakim he bet 700. The big blind was next to act and he check-raised to 2,200 and it was enough to force the two players off the pot.
