Elimination Albert Calderon Elimination Albert Calderon

Hand 103 – Viet Vo folds on the button, and Albert Calderon completes the small blind. Dapo Ajayi is in the big blind and checks.

The dealer spreads the Heart AHeart 8Spade A, and Calderon bets 200,000. Ajayi raises to 650,000, and Calderon calls.

The turn falls the Spade J, and Calderon checks. Ajayi announces a bet of 2.3 million, sliding in a stack of pink chips. Calderon almost instantly moves all-in for 12,825,000 total.

“I knew you limped a monster, three-handed. I don’t know if I can fold this,” Ajayi says as the dealer counts the chips. Ajayi uses a time extension, counts his chips, sees he has Calderon just covered, and calls.

Calderon tables Heart QHeart 5 for just a flush draw, and Ajayi jumps from his seat and slams Club ASpade 2 onto the table for trip aces.

The river Diamond 5 completes the board, and it is the right color, but the wrong suit as Calderon misses his flush and is eliminated in 3rd place for $275,085.
