Hand #12: Michael Mizrachi Takes a 684K Pot vs. Vlad Darie

Apr 24, 2016

Michael Mizrachi

Michael Mizrachi raises under the gun to 33,000, and Vlad Darie calls from middle position.

The flop comes Diamond ADiamond KClub 4, Mizrachi bets 41,000, and Darie calls.

The turn card is the Spade 10, Mizrachi checks, Darie bets 78,000, and Mizrachi cashes in two of his four Time Chips as he tanks for more than a minute before he check-raises to 250,000. Darie uses his full 30 seconds before he calls.

The river card is the Diamond 7, and Mizrachi quickly moves all in for 570,000. The 30-second clock doesn’t begin until the chips are counted. Darie quickly tosses out his last two Time Chips to give himself 90 seconds, and he goes into the tank.

Darie tanks for the full 90 seconds until the buzzer goes off, which counts as a fold. Darie folds his Spade KHeart K face up for a set of kings, and Mizrachi wins the pot — and retakes the chip lead — without showing his cards.
