Hand #128: A Dramatic Chopped Pot

Feb 11, 2015

Mark Dube

Brian Altman min-raises to 800,000, and Mark Dube calls.

Both players check to the turn on a board of AdiamondQspade10club2spade, Dube bets 1,100,000, and Altman thinks for a bit before he raises to 2,800,000.

Dube thinks for about 20 seconds before he moves all in for 9,200,000, and Altman calls with Qclub2heart for two pair, queens and deuces. But Dube turns over Qheart10spade for a higher two pair, queens and tens.

The river card pairs the board with the Aheart — which creates a chopped pot. Both players have aces and queens with a ten kicker.

Brian Altman  –  20,750,000
Mark Dube  –  10,050,000
