HAND #159  –  Marc-Olivier Carpentier-Perrault raises to 500,000, Eric Afriat reraises to 2,000,000, and Carpentier-Perrault moves all in for 9,520,000. Afriat waits for a count before he calls with Spade 7Diamond 7.

Carpentier-Perrault turns over Diamond AClub 5, and he needs to improve to stay alive.

The board comes Heart QDiamond 10Diamond 2Diamond 8Club 2, and Afriat wins the pot — and his third WPT title — with two pair, sevens and deuces.

Marc-Olivier Carpentier-Perrault finishes as the runner-up, earning CAD $356,180 (~US $265,805).

Eric Afriat wins the WPT Fallsview Poker Classic, earning CAD $508,021 (~US $379,120). In addition to his prize money, Afriat also receives a US $15,000 seat into the season-ending WPT Tournament of Champions presented by Baccarat Crystal and a WPT Champions Trophy. He will also receive a third plaque on the one and only WPT Champions Cup, to commemorate all three of his WPT titles.
