Hand #16: Gardens Casino Qualifier Denny Tran Eliminated in 7th Place ($59,290)

Hand #16  –  Craig Varnell raises under the gun to 100,000, Trung Pham calls from the hijack, and Gardens Casino qualifier Denny Tran reraises from the button to 700,000. Will Berry uses one of his Time Chips to tank for nearly a minute before he moves all in from the small blind for 3,930,000, and Varnell and Pham both fold.

Tran uses four of his Time Chips to tank for more than two minutes before he calls all in for 3,365,000 with .

But Berry turns over , and Tran needs to improve to stay alive.

The board comes , and Berry rivers an unnecessary set of aces to win the pot and eliminate Tran in seventh place on the TV bubble. This massive pot will give Berry the chip lead heading into the WPT Final Table.
