Hand #209  –  As the cards are dealt, Darryll Fish says, “This feels like the one.”

Aleksandr Shevelev moves all in for 4,450,000, and Fish calls with Diamond KSpade J. Shevelev turns over Club AHeart 10, and he needs his hand to hold to stay alive.

The board comes Club QDiamond 9Diamond 8Club KDiamond 10, and Darryll Fish wins the pot — and the WPT title — with a king-high straight.

Aleksandr Shevelev finishes as the runner-up, earning $331,116.

Darryll Fish wins the WPT Lucky Hearts Poker Open, earning $511,604, which includes his $15,000 entry into the season-ending WPT Tournament of Champions. Fish also receives a WPT Champions Trophy, and a Seminole Hard Rock Lucky Hearts Poker Open trophy. Fish’s name will be inscribed on the one-and-only WPT Champions Cup, alongside every other WPT champion from all 16 seasons.
