Hand #225   –  Justin Zaki moves all in for 2,400,000, and Eric Afriat (pictured) calls blind and turns over Spade KSpade 2. Zaki turns over Heart 10Diamond 5, and needs to improve to stay alive.

The flop comes Club QDiamond 7Spade 5, and Zaki pairs his five to take the lead.

The turn card is the Heart 2, giving Afriat a pair of deuces and additional outs to a victory.

The river card is — the Club 2! Afriat wins the pot — and his second WPT title — with trip deuces.

Justin Zaki finishes as the runner-up, earning $434,614.

Eric Afriat wins the WPT Borgata Winter Poker Open, earning $651,928, which includes his $15,000 entry into the season-ending WPT Tournament of Champions. Afriat also receives a WPT Champions Trophy, and a Borgata Winter Poker Open trophy. Afriat’s name is already inscribed on the one-and-only WPT Champions Cup, but since this is his second title, he will receive a second plaque, and this one will have a diamond on it to signify that it’s his second title.
