Hand #45: Robert Mizrachi Wins a Huge Pot to Take the Chip Lead From Leon Sturm

HAND #45  –  Robert Mizrachi raises under the gun to 400,000, Leon Sturm calls from the button, and Mike Vanier calls from the big blind.

The flop comes Diamond QClub JDiamond 5, and it checks to Sturm, who bets 400,000. Vanier folds, and Mizrachi calls.

The turn card is the Diamond J, Mizrachi checks, Sturm bets 1,750,000, and Mizrachi uses one of his Time Chips to tank for nearly a minute before he calls.

The river card is the Club 4, and Mizrachi checks. Sturm uses one of his Time Chips to tank for nearly a minute before he bets 3,875,000, and Mizrachi uses a Time Chip of his own to tank for nearly a minute before he calls.

Sturm shows Heart ASpade J for trip jacks, but Mizrachi turns over Diamond ADiamond 4 to win a huge pot — and take the chip lead — with an ace-high diamond flush.
