HAND #68  –  Alex Farahi moves all in from UTG+1 for 600,000, Joshua Pollock calls from the small blind, and Aaron Motoyama calls from the small blind.

There is 1,925,000 in the main pot, and any further betting will create a side pot between Pollock and Motoyama.

Both players check to the turn on a board of Heart 8Club 5Club 4Diamond Q, Pollock bet 500,000, and Motoyama snap-folded.

Pollock shows Heart AClub Q for a pair of queens, but Farahi surprises everyone by turning over Diamond AClub A. Farahi needs his hand to avoid a queen on the river to stay alive.

The river card is the Diamond 7, and Farahi wins the pot with his pocket aces to triple up in chips.

Alex Farahi  –  1,925,000  (15 bb)
Joshua Pollock  –  3,700,000  (30 bb)
Aaron Motoyama  –  2,850,000  (23 bb)

After the hand, Motoyama says, “What was I doing in that hand? I had king-jack of hearts.”
