On his tournament run: “It’s been a great run, and you know I’m thankful for the opportunity. Obviously had to win some big pots and get lucky to even be here. This one didn’t go my way, but I was shortest in chips anyway. But there’s always other tournaments and cash games.”

On not letting his tough finish on Day 5 affect him at the final table: “Not really, I’m pretty good about compartmentalizing, and forgetting about hands after they happen, or at least sort of putting them on the back-burner. I think my shove was correct, and his call was correct, and I lost basically a flip.”
