Hand #82-83: Erick Lindgren Takes the Chip Lead

May 19, 2011

Hand #82  –  As he folds under the gun, Vivek Rajkumar accidentally exposes the [10s]. Daniel Negreanu raises from the cutoff to 66,000, and Justin Bonomo calls from the big blind. The flop comes [Qh10d2c], Bonomo checks, Negreanu bets 75,000, and Bonomo folds.

Negreanu shows [As10h] as he collects the pot, laughing because he paired the ten even though he knew one of them had already been folded.

Hand #83  –  Erik Seidel raises from the cutoff to 60,000, Erick Lindgren calls from the button, Justin Bonomo calls from the small blind, and Vivek Rajkumar calls from the big blind.

The flop comes [Qc7d3d], and it’s checked to Lindgren, who bets 110,000. Bonomo and Rajkumar call, and Seidel folds.

The turn card is the [Ad], Bonomo checks, Rajkumar bets 240,000, and Lindgren calls. Bonomo tanks for more than a minute before he folds.

The river card pairs the board with the [Ac], Rajumar checks, and Lindgren bets 450,000. Rajkumar thinks for a while before he folds, and Erick Lindgren takes the pot.

Vivek Rajkumar  –  2,895,000  (120 BBs)
Justin Bonomo  –  995,000  (41 BBs)
