Mar 20, 2023

Hand #121: Charlie Chiu raises to 400,000 on the button to win the blinds and big blind ante.

Hand #122: Matthieu Lamagnere awards a walk to Bien Mai, grins and flashes the Heart 7Club 2. “Suited is okay but off suit is not”.

Hand #123: Mai limps the small blind and Charlie Chiu checks from the big blind. Mai bets the Heart AHeart 8Diamond 3 flop for 200,000 and the Diamond 10 turn for 700,000, both of which Chiu calls. Mai jams the Heart 5 river instantly and Chiu folds.

Hand #124: Lamagnere raises to 400,000 in the cutoff, picking up calls from Mai on the button and Kono in the big blind. Following the Diamond 9Diamond 4Club 4 flop, Kono checks and Lamagnere bets 550,000. Both opponents call and they check down the Heart 5Club 8 on turn and river.

Kono turns over Club QClub 9 and wins the pot.

Hand #125: Mai raises to 400,000 and wins it preflop.

Hand #126: Lamagnere limps the small blind and Mai raises to 700,000 for the Frenchman to call. The Heart 9Spade 7Spade 6 flop goes check, check, and the Diamond 7 turn pairs the board. Lamagnere bets 700,000 and receives a quick call from Mai.

After the Diamond 5 river, Lamagnere bets another 1,200,000 and Mai calls within five seconds to get shown the Spade QDiamond JX 5 for a bluff. Mai has that beat with the Diamond ASpade 2 to take the lead.

Matthieu Lamagnere – 8,500,000 (42 bb)
Bien Mai – 10,300,000 (51 bb)
Charlie Chiu – 2,000,000 (10 bb)
Reiji Kono – 9,400,000 (47 bb)
