Hands #155-169: Matthieu Lamagnere Gets Shorter

Hand #155: Bien Mai limps the small blind and folds to a raise worth 900,000 by Reiji Kono.

Hand #156: Mai opens to 500,000 on the button to collect the blinds and big blind ante.

Hand #157: Kono min-raises on the button for Mai to defend the big blind. Mai check-calls for 250,000 on the Spade KClub 8Club 4 flop and they check it down on the Diamond 2Diamond 7 runout for Mai to win the pot with Club 6Spade 4.

Hand #158: Mai raises to 750,000 in the small blind, Kono comes along in the big blind. Mai bets 775,000 on the Diamond 8Heart 7Diamond 2 flop and that ends any further resistance of Kono.

Hand #159: Mai opens to 500,000 on the button and folds when Kono three-bets to 1,800,000 in the small blind.

Hand #160: Kono raises to 500,000, Mai three-bets to 1,850,000 in the big blind and that’s it.

Hand #161: Mai limps the small blind, Kono checks. Mai bets 250,000 on Heart QHeart 7Club 6 and that wins the pot.

Hand #162: A button raise to 500,000 by Mai is defended by Matthieu Lamagnere in the big blind. They check the Heart 8Heart 5Diamond 4 flop and Lamagnere leads the Heart 10 turn for 700,000 to take it down.

Hand #163: A walk for Mai.

Hand #164: Lamagnere raises to 500,000 on the button and Kono calls in the big blind, then check-folds the Heart ADiamond ADiamond 6 flop when Lamagnere continues for 300,000.

Hand #165: Kono limp-calls a raise to 800,000 by Lamagnere in a battle of the blinds. The Japanese check-calls bets of 500,000 on the Club 7Club 6Diamond 6 flop and 1,150,000 on the Heart 6 turn. They check the Club Q river and Kono wins the pot with Spade 9Spade 7.

Hand #166: A walk for Mai.

Hand #167: In a limped pot between Mai and Kono, the Club JDiamond 4Heart 2 flop is checked and Mai’s min-bet on the Diamond K turn gets called. They check it down on the Club 4 river and chop it with Club AHeart 10 versus Diamond ADiamond 7.

Hand #168: Mai raises to 500,000 on the button and folds when Lamagnere jams for 3,050,000 in the big blind. 

Hand #169: Lamagnere jams out of the small blind to win the pot.
