Hand #171: David Larson (pictured above) raises to 375,000 preflop on the button, and Ian Steinman reraises all in for 1.1 million. Larson calls before the flop falls Diamond ASpade JClub 6, and then Larson bets 400,000 and Steinman check-calls.

The turn brings the Heart A, and both players check before the river delivers the Spade Q. Steinman bets 500,000, Larson raises all in, and Steinman calls all in for his last 1 million.

Steinman is eliminated in second place, good for $201,428, and Larson wins WPT Rolling Thunder to the tune of $295,128. Larson joins the WPT Champions Club, and he receives a WPT Champions Trophy along with a $15,000 seat in the WPT Tournament of Champions in May at Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
