Hands #34-38: Josef Gulas Sends Gianluca Speranza on a Nub

Hand #34: Gianluca Speranza completes from the small blind with the Heart 10Heart 5 and Josef Gulas checks his option with the Diamond QHeart 8. Gulas checks back on the Heart 2Spade 9Spade Q flop and Speranza bets 150,000 on the Spade 3 turn. Gulas calls and they continue to the Spade K river. Speranza fires 600,000 and Gulas quickly picks him off, sending the Italian back under 10 big blinds.

Hand #35: Gulas peels Diamond 3Club 3 in the small blind and he limps in. Laszlo Papai checks with Diamond 10Diamond 5 and they check down to the Spade KHeart ADiamond 6Diamond QDiamond K river where Papai bets 150,000 in position, having river the flush. Gulas calls and Papai increases his stack.

Hand #36: Gulas finds Diamond ASpade 10 on the button and he raises to 250,000. Papai flats from the small blind with Club AClub 2 and Joep van den Bijgaart matches the price as well, coming along from the big blind with the Club 5Diamond 4. All players check the Heart 5Heart 2Club 6 flop and the Spade 2 turn gives Papai trips. He fires 300,000, getting a call from van den Bijgaart and a fold from Gulas. The Club K river goes check-check and Papai closes the gap between him and van den Bijgaart.

Hand #37: Papai raises to 250,000 from the button with Diamond KSpade J and Christopher Puetz calls from the big blind with Spade KDiamond 10. The Heart QDiamond 9Heart 2Spade 6Heart 5 board is checked down to the river where Puetz bets 225,000. Papai folds and Puetz rakes in the pot.

Hand #38: Papai raises again, this time with the Club ASpade 9 and takes it down.
