Hands #4-7: Eric Sfez Takes the Lead

Hand #4: Vitalijs Zavorotnijs raises to 260,000 with the Heart JHeart 3 on the button and claims the blinds and antes.

Hand #5: Eric Sfez raises to 250,000 with the Spade QSpade 9 first to act and Boris Kolev on the button calls with the Diamond ASpade 10. The flop comes Diamond 8Spade 5Club 4 and a bet of 450,000 by Sfez does the trick to force a fold from Kolev.

Hand #6: Jerry Odeen joins the action with a raise to 250,000 on the button, holding the Spade ADiamond 7, and Sfez in the big blind three-bets to 620,000 with the Heart AClub A. Odeen uses one time bank extension and folds 15 seconds later.

Hand #7: Zavorotnijs opens to 260,000 from under the gun with the Spade 10Heart 6 and Sfez in the small blind calls with the Club QSpade Q. Alain Zedain comes along from the big blind with the Spade 7Spade 4 and they head three ways to the Diamond QSpade 8Club 7 flop.

Sfez checks his top set and his two opponents check behind. On the Club A turn, Sfez checks once more and Zeidan checks as well. Zavorotnijs bets 850,000 and Sfez min-check-raises to 1,700,000. Zeidan quickly folds and
