Hands #40-44: Yang Lei Keeps Splashing Around

HAND #40 – Yang Lei opens to 150,000 from the hijack, Mark Staples calls on the button, and Jerry Wang shoves 775,000 in the big blind. Lei and Staples fold.

HAND #41 – Lei raises to 150,000 in middle position, Naj Ajez defends his big blind, and the dealer spreads on the flop. Ajez taps, Lei continues with a bet and Ajez folds instantly.

HAND #42 – Staples raises to 150,000 from the hijack and the rest of the table declines.

HAND #43 – Lei opens to 150,000 from under the gun, Ajez calls on the button, and Tony Jun Lu defends his big blind. The flop lands and all three check to the turn where Lei bets 375,000. Ajez calls and Lu folds. 

The board completes with a river and Lei winds down his bet, putting in just 75,000. Ajez calls and Lei shows . Lei’s queen is good as Ajez mucks, showing the as he throws his hand into the muck.

HAND #44 – Wang shoves from the hijack and the rest of the table folds. 

The remaining eight players will now be taking a ten-minute break.
