Hands #64-69: Straight-over-Straight for Maria Ho

Hand #64: Eric Afriat limps the button and Ami Alibay calls from the small blind. James Carroll raises to 700,000 from the big blind and both Afriat and Alibay fold.

Hand #65: Ami Alibay raises to 250,000 from the button and Maria Ho calls in the big blind. The flop lands Spade JHeart 5Heart 4 and Ho check-calls a bet of 150,000. The turn is the Heart A and Ho check-calls a bet of 450,000.

The river is the Club 3 and Ho checks a third time. Alibay bets 750,000, and Ho quickly calls. Alibay tables his Club 2Heart 2 for a wheel, but Ho reveals his Diamond 7Heart 6 for the nut straight to take the pot and hold the current chip lead.

Hand #66: Maria Ho limps the small blind and Chad Eveslage checks his option in the big blind. Ho bets out 125,00 on the Club 3Heart JSpade A flop and Eveslage calls as the turn lands the Heart 6.

Ho bets 425,000 and Eveslage calls as the Diamond J falls on the river. Ho checks, Eveslage bets 750,000, and Ho folds.

Hand #67: Ami Alibay limps the hijack and James Carrol raises to 400,000 from the cutoff. Alibay calls, and then check-folds to a 350,000-chip bet from Carroll on the Heart JHeart 10Spade 6 flop.

Hand #68: James Carroll raises to 275,000 in the hijack and Jerry Wong calls in the big blind. The flop lands Diamond 8Spade 2Spade A and Wong check-folds to a bet of 225,000.

Hand #69: Maria Ho raises to 275,000 in the hijack and both Chad Eveslage and Eric Afriat call from the cutoff and big blind respectively.

The flop lands Heart 7Spade 2Diamond J and Eveslage bets 350,000. Afriat check-raises to 850,000, and once Ho folds, Eveslage folds also. Afriat shows his Heart ASpade J as players head on a 15-minute break.
