Hands #74-76: Allen Carter Doubles Through Jeff Coutroulis

Hand #74  –  Bobby Suer moves all in from early position for 208,000, winning the blinds and antes. 

Hand #75  –  Tyler Smith raises from middle position for 66,000, winning the blinds and antes. 

Hand #76  –  Allen Carter raises from middle position to 65,000, Jeff Coutroulis reraises from the small blind to 165,000, and Carter calls. The flop comes [6c5d2d], Coultroulis bets 220,000, Carter moves all in for 676,000, and Coutroulis calls with [9d9s] for an over pair. But Carter shows [5h5s] for a set of fives, and he is a big favorite to double up here. 

The turn is the [8h], giving Coutroulis additional outs to a nine-high straight. But the river card pairs the board with the [8s], and Allen Carter wins the pot with a full house, fives full of eights, to double up to about 1.7 million. Jeff Coutroulis drops down to about 266,000.
