HAND #9  –  There is no small blind this hand. Matthew Wantman raises under the gun to 300,000, taking the blinds and ante.

HAND #10  –  Joshua Pollock raises from UTG/cutoff to 325,000, Aaron Motoyama reraises from the button to 800,000, and Pollock thinks for a while before he folds. Motoyama takes the pot.

HAND #11  –  Aaron Motoyama raises from UTG/cutoff to 300,000, and Joshua Pollock calls from the big blind.

The flop comes Diamond 8Club 3Diamond 2, Pollock checks, Motoyama bets 300,000, and Pollock moves all in for about 5,000,000.

Motoyama snap-calls all in with a similar stack and turns over Heart 9Club 9 for an overpair. Pollock turns over Diamond QDiamond 10 for a diamond flush draw, and whoever loses this hand will either be out or knocked down to just one or two big blinds.

The turn card is the Heart Q, the river card is the Spade 8, and Pollock pairs his queen on the turn to win the pot.

Their chip stacks are counted down, and it looks like Pollock has 5,025,000 to Motoyama’s 4,850,000. Motoyama is eliminated in fourth place.

Joshua Pollock  –  10,700,000  (71 bb)
Aaron Motoyama  –  Eliminated in 4th Place  ($207,000)
