Happy Birthday to Season XIV WPT Legends of Poker Champion Mike Shariati!

It’s Mike Shariati’s birthday today, and it proved lucky for him two years ago when he won this event on his way to claiming the Season XIV Hublot WPT Player of the Year title.

It’s only Day 1, so Shariati still has a long way to go to become the first player to successfully defend a WPT title. In the meantime, Cathy Zhao of the WPT surprised him at the poker table with a small birthday cake to celebrate.
