Glenn Lafaye limps under the gun for 16,000, Hasan Habib calls from the button, and Dan O’Brien calls from the small blind. Tab Thiptinnakon is in the big blind, and must have thought somebody had raised, because he folds when he had the option to check and see a free flop. Oops.

So three players see the flop of [Js6c2d]. O’Brien checks, and Lafaye bets 37,000. Habib moves all in for 74,000, and O’Brien folds. 

Lafaye calls with [QdJh] for a pair of jacks, and Habib turns over [Jc9c] for a pair of jacks, lower kicker. Habib needs to improve to catch a nine or something runner-runner to stay alive.

The turn card pairs the board with the [6h], giving Habib outs to a chop, but the river card is the [8c], and Lafaye wins the pot with his queen kicker. Hasan Habib is eliminated in 16th place.
