Holz's Empire Shows Some Cracks

Mar 16, 2015

For the first time since Fedor Holz entered the tournament he’s in a bit of trouble. The start-of-the-day chip leader just lost a chunk of chips against Pascal Hartmann and the action went as following.

Jan-Eric Schwippert raised to 25,000 from the hijack and Hartmann called from the button. Holz called from the big blind and the flop brought out AclubKclub8diamond on which all three players checked.

The turn was the Jdiamond and Holz bet 47,000, Schwippert folded and Hartmann called.

On the river the Qclub hit and Holz bet 109,000 after which Hartmann moved all in for 320,000. Holz sighed and folded with some clear signs of frustration on his face.
