After a flop of [10s5h4h], Hevad Khan bets 5,500 from the button, Hoyt Corkins reraises from the big blind to 35,500, and Khan moves all in for 77,400. Corkins calls with [Jh8h] for a flush draw, but he’s drawing slim against Khan’s higher flush draw ([Kh3h]).
But Hoyt runs well.
The turn card is the [Js], and Hoyt takes the lead with a pair of jacks. Khan can catch a king or any heart to collect Hoyt’s bounty, but the river card is the [9s], and Hoyt Corkins doubles up.
When the level ended a few minutes later, Hoyt was already up to about 265,000.
