As the first half of WPT Season XIV winds down, there is a log jam atop the Hublot Player of the Year Leaderboard. Four players are tied atop the leaderboard with WPT Choctaw champion Jason Brin, WPT Legends of Poker champion Mike Shariati, WPT Borgata Poker Open champion David Paredes and Andjelko Andrejevic tied for the most points with 1,200 each. Since ties are decided by money earned, Paredes tops the official Hublot POY leaderboard after earning $723,227 in Atlantic City.

Last season, Darren Elias finished second in the POY to Anthony Zinno in a tight race to the bitter. Elias is making another run this season, currently sitting in fifth place on the leaderboard with 1,150 points.
