Afriat is at-risk but in the lead with his pocket pair against Carroll’s over cards.

Afriat is now drawing to one of the last sixes in the deck, and when the turn lands the Heart 3, Afriat would be down to his just his last two outs.

The dealer burns and turns the Spade Q on the river, and Afriat is eliminated in second-place from the WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown final table for $465,120 in prize money.

James Carroll wins the Season XVII WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown for $715,175, along with a Hublot Big Bang Steel Watch, and a $15,000 entry into the season-ending Baccarat Crystal Tournament of Champions.
